You will hear ideas and opinions from both pro-crypto members of congress and the opposition. Experts from industry professionals also give explanations on the benefits of cryptocurrency (or lack thereof) of Stablecoins and decentralized payment systems. The general feeling is that the government is behind the private sector in digital payment processing and they are trying to create the government CBDC to compete with decentralized stablecoins so they do not lose control of the current outdated payment systems.
For those that don’t know him, Brian Armstrong is the CEO and founder of Coinbase, the largest and first public cryptocurrency exchange in the United States. Brian Armstrong is currently in legal battles with U.S regulatory bodies over the future of Crypto. The good news is that the SEC is losing lawsuits left and right and odds are that Brian is going to win. Brian Armstrong is one of the few very clearly good actors in the crypto space & he’s fighting tooth and nail with the SEC to protect crypto’s future.
